Association

Arkki, the School of Architecture for Children and Youth, is a non-profit association founded in 1993 whose purpose is to support and develop teaching and educational work for children and young people related to architecture, the built environment, and the ecological foundations of construction.

Activities

The association maintains a school that offers teaching following the extensive architecture curriculum in basic art education to achieve its purpose. In addition, the association works in a variety of other ways to promote architectural and environmental education for children and young people.

Board

The Board of members elected at the autumn 2020 meeting has four full members and one deputy member: Jere Keskinen (Chairman), Krista Tammela (Deputy Chairman), Sini Koivisto (Member), Ella Kautto (Member) and Mari Jaakonaho (Deputy Member).
